Developing Deliverance Ministers
We are thrilled to announce the launch of Level I of our School of Deliverance at New Hope Christian Center in Waterloo, Indiana. This school is designed to equip those who are actively involved in deliverance ministry with the biblical understanding, practical tools, and spiritual insight needed to walk confidently in their calling as deliverance ministers.
Program Overview
The School of Deliverance will meet twice per month on Sunday evenings from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Zoom option is available for remote students, with a practicum required for course completion, for both in-person and Zoom participants.
Enrollment is open to:
► Members of New Hope Christian Center
► Individuals outside New Hope Christian Center who are already being trained in deliverance ministry or are taking steps to become involved.
Before acceptance, candidates will be required to speak with Chet Swearingen to ensure alignment with the ministry’s goals and values.
Curriculum Structure
The curriculum blends theological depth with practical application, covering the spiritual and scriptural foundations of deliverance ministry. Classes will be taught by Chet Swearingen.
In addition to in-person teaching, students will be assigned online training videos to reinforce key concepts and methods.
Practicum Component
A cornerstone of this school is the Practicum, where students progressively step into the role of deliverance ministers. For course completion, the Practicum is required for both in-person and remote students. These sessions will be supervised and structured to help students:
► Gain hands-on experience
► Build confidence in ministering deliverance
► Receive personalized feedback and mentorship
Certification & Recognition
Students who complete at least 10 of the 12 sessions will receive a Certificate of Completion. Missed sessions can be made up by watching Zoom recordings and discussing them with Chet Swearingen via a Zoom or phone call.
Program Cost and Donation Opportunities
The program is being offered at no cost as part of our mission to equip the body of Christ. However, donations are appreciated to help cover materials (estimated at $30 per student). Contributions will go toward printing, supplies, and ongoing resource development.
