Roadblock to Revival
The road to revival is filled with potholes, roadblocks, and obstacles. The Apostle Paul said Satan hindered him repeatedly (1 Thess. 2:18).
We know revival has been blocked by Satan, and regardless of how the Church at large feels about deliverance ministry, we have confidence that this is what is going to bring the breakthrough for revival.
The track record of the Church is to claim it has its focus on Jesus and that we shouldn’t allow ourselves to get preoccupied with Satan. That has a nice ring to it, but any military commander seeking victory would never stick their head in the sand and pretend the enemy isn’t there. Instead, they would devise an offensive strategy and take the battle to the enemy—which is what we are doing. At the same time, we are totally dependent on Jesus the Deliverer—as without Him we wouldn’t be able to accomplish what we see taking place.
Throughout the region there are those who are being harassed by demons. Most fear telling their friends or pastors because they are almost always dismissed as being mentally ill and are given a quick referral to a psychiatrist.
