How much time do we invest when we pray for a single person’s deliverance?
Conservatively, we invest over 17 hours with each person we minister to (some have been in excess of 40 hours). And we have invested in well over 45 people during the last six months. In addition to our time investment, there is another 17 man-hours that are invested into the individuals by intercessors who pray with the person during a deliverance session (34-man-hour total per person).
God has blessed us so much that we have never had to require anyone to donate for us to pray for their deliverance. While Psychologists, Psychiatrists, and counselors may charge anywhere from $80 – $150 per hour, and some deliverance ministries charge $300-$500 for ministry for a single individual, we have never had to do this.
What is the difference between the services of deliverance ministers and mental health professionals? The mental health professionals rarely, if ever, address the core spiritual issues that a deliverance ministry focuses on, and every emotional issue a person has is always associated with a spiritual condition.
We greatly delight in not having to ask people to give toward our ministry for services rendered, but we do want to make it clear, that somebody is paying for this ministry to take place.
