From the below 10 verses we see that God is under no obligation to respond to any of our prayers if we are unrepentant, but that shouldn’t discourage us, because there is GOOD NEWS!
We can all obtain assurance that He does hear us, and we can have that assurance in only a moment!
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)
►If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. (2 Chron. 7:14)
►If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear. (Psalms 66:18)
►The Lord is far from the wicked, But He hears the prayer of the righteous. (Proverbs 15:29)
►If anyone turns a deaf ear to my instruction, even their prayers are detestable. (Proverbs 28:9)
►When you lift up your hands in prayer, I will not look. Though you offer many prayers, I will not listen, for your hands are covered with the blood of innocent victims. (Isa. 1:15)
►But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear. (Isa. 59:2)
►We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, God listens to him. (John 9:31)
►That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God. (Romans 8:8)
►For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. (1 Peter 3:12)
►You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions. (James 4:3)
