Lazarus needed others to set him free.
When Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, people still had to set him free. When people are born again, they are not immediately set free from addictions, trauma, and emotional pain from their past. Someone MUST come alongside them, and, as Jesus said,
Loose him, and let him go (John 11:44).
Even Older Christians
Just because you have received a new life, like Lazarus, it doesn’t mean you are free. Jesus gave Lazarus a new life, but he was still bound.

Even after a Christian has been born-again for many years, there are times when “grave clothes” get re-wrapped around them.
