Report on Deliverance Training
On Sunday, March 30, we conducted a 3-hour deliverance training at New Hope Christian Center in Waterloo, IN, with over 60 attendees.
The training featured testimonies and intentionally involved young adults in leading portions of the session. This demonstrated that age is not a limiting factor in deliverance ministry.

► Pray for the Lord to send laborers into His field, specifically in the area of deliverance, as there is a huge need for trained people to conduct this type of ministry.

Evangelism and Baptisms Continue
We are very grateful to see one of our former Bible students carrying out their ministry with diligence. Here are some pictures of me with him in 2014, during one of our last classes. Also pictured is the same young man conducting baptisms.

Do I Fear Satan and Demons?
Proper Perspective Concerning Satan and Demons in Spiritual Warfare
People occasionally ask, “Aren’t you afraid of Satan and demons?” The answer might surprise you: no, I do not fear Satan. Instead, I respect him—but only in the sense of recognizing his power and influence. Fear, on the other hand, should be reserved for God alone.
Do You Fear a Knife?
Think about a sharp kitchen knife. It can be dangerous if used carelessly, but that doesn’t mean we live in fear of it.
We handle it with care, knowing what it can do, but we don’t spend our time worrying about it. The same idea applies to Satan and his demons. We should be aware of their ability to cause harm, but we shouldn’t let fear control us. Instead, we stay alert and rely on God’s strength.
Respecting Satan means acknowledging that he is real and that he works against God’s people. His demons also seek to deceive and attack believers. But respect is not the same as fear. Fear gives them too much power in our lives, just like constantly worrying about a kitchen knife would be unnecessary. Instead, we focus on God, knowing that He is stronger than anything Satan and his demons can do.
Respect – yes, but fear – no!
True fear should be directed toward God—not as terror, but as deep respect and reverence for His power and authority. This kind of fear helps us stay close to Him and avoid sin. It reminds us of the importance of living in obedience to His will.
As followers of Christ, our focus should always be on God, not on Satan’s tricks and the schemes of his demons. By respecting Satan without fearing him, we show that our trust is in God’s power and protection. This keeps us strong in spiritual battles and helps us stay firm in our faith.
In the end, knowing the difference between fear and respect is important. Respecting Satan means being aware of his influence, but not allowing it to shake our faith. Fear, on the other hand, can weaken us and take our eyes off God. That’s why we should always rely on God’s wisdom, strength, and guidance as we face spiritual challenges.
Are Emotions Out of Place During Church Services?
Are emotions intended solely for the secular realm, or should they be embraced in church worship services? Some argue that emotions have no place in worship, while others believe they are an essential part of expressing one’s faith and encountering God.
The Welsh Revival of 1904-1905 stirred controversy, as many criticized the passionate displays of emotion. Over 100,000 people joined churches during this period, yet skeptics dismissed the movement as emotional fanaticism, religious hysteria, and mass mesmerization. They questioned whether such a revival was truly a work of God or merely a psychological phenomenon.
Additionally, critics lamented the lack of structured preaching and teaching, arguing that too much emphasis was placed on prayer, singing, and personal testimonies. However, for many, these very elements were the lifeblood of the revival—genuine encounters with the Holy Spirit that transformed lives.
Rick Joyner, in The Welsh Revival and Its Lessons for Our Times, addressed such concerns:
“… people in a land like ours are taught to death, preached to insensibility. They all know the essential truths. They know they are not living as they ought to live, and no amount of teaching will add anything to that conviction.”
The Welsh Revival demonstrated that encountering God is not merely intellectual—it is deeply experiential.
Making Jesus Famous
Rarely a week goes by that we don’t witness spectacular physical, emotional, and spiritual healings. And this has been taking place for 6 years.
Examples of the Past Two Weeks
- Two people with multiple personalities healed and restored to singleness of mind.
- Doctors were unable to determine the cause of pain in arm and back. Prevented sleep, causing exhaustion. That pain is gone.
- Person with tormenting dreams every night. Causing exhaustion. Those dreams have stopped. Sleep is restored.
