No Psych Meds in this Prayer Ministry*
The overseas ministry we worked with as missionaries had a Mental Health / Narcotic Rehabilitation Center. At that Rehab Center, we saw mental illnesses healed without medicine, nor with modern psychological therapies. These were illnesses the mental health professionals claimed had no cure. When the doctors from the mental health hospital in the nearby city came to investigate the results they were hearing about, they were startled to learn that no psych meds were being used.
That Rehab Center had many dozens of men who were restored to their right minds, and never were psychotic medications used. The patients were prayed for and were fed the Bread of Life—the Word of God—and they were healed!
We are seeing the same taking place now in the USA (Dec. 2019). We utilize a spiritual solution in the healing of mental illness, and it is prayer. We have seen Jesus heal multiple cases of mental illness in just the last few months. We have not seen 100% of the people healed, but a very high percentage have had extraordinary results.
*We are not opposed to the medical or mental health profession, and we do not tell people we pray with to stop taking prescribed medicines. That decision is left up to the individual and their health provider.
